Bergen County Assistant Prosecutor Avon Morgan was killed in a motorcycle crash Friday. The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office announced his death on their Facebook page.

Morgan’s motorcycle and an SUV collided in Hackensack. He was 38.

In a post on Facebook, the prosecutor's office says, “It is with profound sadness that BCPO announces the sudden passing of our colleague and friend, Assistant Prosecutor Avon Morgan. Avon will be missed by everyone who had the opportunity to know him. Please keep Avon's family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
