A legally blind Brooklyn boy's desire to be more independent helped his mother create a clothing and accessory line for those with impaired vision.
Gracie Benedith created Braille Code Inc., which designed adhesive patches for articles of clothing to help people know their right from their left.
"I instill in my son to be confident, be proud of who he is, and there is no shame in being blind," Benedith told News 12 Brooklyn.
She says she has already made some sales of her patent-pending braille attire.
More information about Braille Code Inc. can be found at their website.
