A Brooklyn man has opened a jukebox shop in the borough.
A jukebox rental and repair shop might seem like an odd business choice in 2017 with all kinds of music options like Spotify and iTunes right at our fingertips, but for Terry Swords, his new business venture has been a dream come true.
Swords says apps and websites for streaming music are simply not competitors for New York Jukebox.
"It is just a different experience; it is much more interactive; it is much more social, and it's much more public," he says.
Swords has even placed a jukebox outside of his Dean Street shop where you'll find people young and old stopping by to listen to a song from the past.
