A group of Park Slope middle school students got to record a song with Gloria Estefan.
Choir students from M.S. 266 were chosen to record backup vocals for Estefan's new song, "America."
She will sing the song at this year's Macy's Fourth of July fireworks display.
VH1 Save the Music Foundation arranged the event. The school's music program is funded by the program.
While the kids won't actually be singing live with Estefan - the vocals were pre-recorded - they will be the guests of honor at the celebration and get to see the festivities up close and personal.
