One basketball camp in Williamsburg is taking the focus off the court.
The Big Little Basketball Camp at Grand Street Campus High School in Williamsburg aims to help young players reach their goals in life by doing more than just improving their jump shot.
The camp is run by Jamael Lynch, a graduate of Bishop Loughlin who played in the NBA developmental league.
He and the other instructors have focused on the things off the court that made them successful, and are teaching kids everything from nutrition to flexibility, and even dealing with media interviews.
The camp runs through Aug. 22.
