Billy Joel announces latest Madison Square Garden residency date; tickets on sale next week
With Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden residency set to come to an end next year, fans are doing everything they can to get a ticket. Here’s your next chance.
The Garden announced Thursday a show on Feb. 9, 2024, his 99th monthly MSG show and 145th overall.
Presale for the concert begins on Monday, July 24 for Citi cardholders, followed by a presale for VerizonUp members beginning Tuesday, July 25. Then a general presale begins Wednesday, July 26 at 10 a.m., which is accessible using the code SOCIAL.
Tickets go on sale for the general public on Friday, July 28.
Joel’s Madison Square Garden performances date back to 1978, but his famous residency started in 2013.
Joel announced that his July 2024 show, which will be his 150th overall, will conclude his residency at MSG. The February show will be the sixth-to-last on the slate.
The Piano Man’s 2023 shows, taking place on July 24, Aug. 29, Sept. 10, Oct. 20, Nov. 22 and Dec. 19, are all sold out. His only other scheduled 2024 show for now is on Jan. 11.
Joel will also play Madison Square Garden with Stevie Nicks on Oct. 1.
