BK councilman fights MTA robotrain plan
A Brooklyn councilman is trying to put the brakes on a robotrain plan on the L line.
The MTA is testing trains controlled by robots from Brooklyn to Manhattan, but Councilman Charles Barron calls the computer-operated trains dangerous and dysfunctional.
Officials say that even with the robots, there are still human conductors aboard the trains.
