A Brooklyn grandmother is recovering from surgery after being shot in the face by a stray bullet.
According to police, Agripina Camacho, 81, was hit while inside her East New York home when a gang-related shooting broke out Wednesday night.
Camacho's family says she is the mother of nine kids and the grandma of an officer on NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly's security detail.
Camacho's son also said his mother remained conscious after the shooting and is expected to make a full recovery.
