After Starbucks removed Christmas symbols like reindeer and Christmas trees from their holiday cups, it began a bit of Internet outrage.
Some people accused the company of being too politically correct.
The coffee cup controversy has residents in Brooklyn debating whether or not companies should stick with Christmas traditions.
"There are plenty of people who don't celebrate Christmas specifically, so why not have it more generic?" says resident David Sumner. "Its design is meant to make people feel good, so if people want to wear orange pants, let them. If they want to put up Christmas decorations all year, do that. It's fine with me."
