Brooklyn students showed off their artistic skills today in what organizers say is the Parks Department's largest student art project.
Students from Mark Twain Middle School and P.S. 53-K showed off lunch tables they had painted on Wednesday. The project is part of the Learning Through Expanded Arts Program.
The students of P.S. 53-K had a technology-themed lunch table while the students from Mark Twain focused on animal rights and the environment.
The tables will be on display through August, when the principal will decide whether to use it as an actual lunch table or show them off as a mural inside the school.
