New York City is feeling Knicks fever, so much so that some fans are bleeding orange and blue – literally.

Employees at Live by the Sword Tattoo in Williamsburg said they’re seeing an uptick in Knicks tattoos.

“The interest has really started to peak, five [to] 10 a day, maybe on the upside,” said tattoo artist Adam Korothy.

Korothy said that, yes, the ink is permanent, but so is the heartbreak of the Knicks' past.

“You know what the ‘80s and the 2000s were like,” said Korothy. “So, if that isn’t permanent, I don’t know what is.”

Wesley Cooper said he has been rooting for the Knicks for as long as he can remember, and his family’s fandom runs deep.

“It’s in our blood,” said Cooper.

The Brooklyn native visited the shop on Friday.

Cooper got a tattoo on his left shin of a shaded, black and gray Knicks logo with the Empire State Building.

“I’ve been a fan in the worst of times, so there’s not anything that anybody could say or do that’s going to make me be like, ‘Oh, this was not a good idea,’ or like, ‘Oh, I don't like it anymore,’” said Cooper.

He said the tattoo is worth it during a championship run like this.

“Getting tattoos, it’s not painless,” said Cooper. “So, now there’s a physical, sort of, literal scar for it, too.”
