Mayor Michael Bloomberg updated city residents from the Office of Emergency Management offices in downtown Brooklyn earlier this evening.
He asked for patience from residents who have experienced power outages and assured that Con Edison officials will begin working to restore power tomorrow. As of 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, 87,112 Brooklyn residents are without power.
