Borough Hall in Brooklyn was lit up gold Monday for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
The lighting follows those of other locations in the city including the Parachute Jump in Coney Island.
Local families impacted by the disease and other members of the community came out to show their support. They hope the awareness will help fund more research for the disease.
Borough President Eric Adams is also pushing for a state legislation that would create vanity license plates to help fund the fight against childhood cancer.
Borough Hall will be glowing gold until Sunday.
