One poultry shop in Borough Park is offering fresh turkeys for the holidays.

At La Pera Bros. the turkeys are alive and ready to be selected by families for Thanksgiving dinner.

Customers say nothing beats a fresh turkey for the holidays.

"You can tell the difference between a frozen turkey that's been there laying there for months and months and a fresh turkey," says David Perez. "You can tell the difference right in the meat when you cook it."

La Pera Bros. will be open this week and even on Thanksgiving morning.
