Community activists from B.R.A.G., Save Our Streets, Stand Up to Gun Violence and more gathered Saturday at 2525 Morris Park Ave. to speak out against recent gun violence.

The demonstration was at the same location where six men were shot Wednesday in front of St. James Park.

Activists showed up in numbers as they demanded change, urging New Yorkers to turn their back on gun violence.

"There's no reason shots should be fired by a playground," one community member stated.

Activists said these rallies bring visibility to the local organizations formed to create change.
