Family and friends are seeking justice for 24-year-old Jerome Roshaun Alexander, a Bridgeport dad who was shot and killed early Saturday morning at Howard and Beachwood avenues.

Police are investigating the incident and seeking community assistance, while loved ones remember the victim as a generous, family-oriented man.

"He grew up in Bridgeport but had recently moved to Meriden. Today we're calling on his hometown community to help us get justice for Jerome," said his sister, Jackie Thomas.

A GoFundMe has been set up for the family.
