The New Life Church in the Bronx is offering walk-in vaccine appointments to help the community fight against the coronavirus.
The church located on Morris Avenue is accepting public walk-ins from anyone who is eligible for a vaccine.
They say no appointment is necessary and that residents don’t need to schedule an appointment to come back.
The church distributed the Johnson and Johnson vaccine until 6 p.m. on Friday and will distribute the vaccine again on Saturday morning starting at 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.
However, residents say getting an appointment in other vaccine hubs was difficult--which were fully booked or had no vaccines available.
