Bronx man faces murder charge in fatal subway shove in Harlem

A Bronx man is facing a murder charge after police say he fatally pushed another Bronx man at a Harlem train station Monday.

A Bronx man is facing a murder charge after police say he fatally pushed another Bronx man at a Harlem train station Monday.

According to the authorities, 24-year-old Carlton McPherson pushed 54-year-old Jason Volz onto the tracks of the the 125th Street and Lexington Avenue subway station at around 7 p.m. Voltz was struck by an oncoming 4 train and died.

McPherson was arrested at the station by an on-duty officer.
