A Bronx mother is seeking help from the community to find her 22-year-old son, who went missing on Halloween.
Tampshia Smith says her son, Octavius Branch, left home to go to a Halloween party near the corner of East 134th Street and Lincoln Avenue. He never returned home and hasn't been seen since.
Smith handed out fliers hoping that someone recognizes him. He was last seen wearing a black cargo jumper with a black sweatshirt, blue and white Van sneakers and a skull mask.
Smith says her son has autism but is high-functioning. She says while he usually travels alone, he would keep in contact with her so this behavior is unusual.
Branch told Smith that he would be home by the next morning, but nearly a week later - there is still no sign of him.
Police are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
