Two Bronx residents are continuing their nearly five-year fight for safer conditions on Shore Road.
James and Tommy Breen say they have driven on Shore Road for most of their lives and have been fighting for years to make it safer after seeing many accidents.
They say the city was supposed to do a 15-month study of the area beginning in 2018 to evaluate the icy, slick road issues and more, but it has not yet been completed.
The Department of Design and Construction told News 12 that the study was delayed in March because of COVID-19 and resumed in December and is anticipated to finish by early summer.
