An unexpected thank you note a stranger left inside her car is changing one woman's perspective.

It's the kind of thing that street parkers dread – having their car broken into. But what if you found a note in your car thanking you for letting a stranger sleep there?

That's exactly what happened to Chulani Sterling, in the Bronx. She posted the note to her Instagram story, where she's usually promoting her natural hair care business. The note went viral.

After the incident, Sterling says she called her dad, looked at everything and wiped the car down.

Sterling says she's not angry at the stranger who broke into her car. None of her belongings came up missing. She says she does, however, feel bad knowing someone was looking for a warm place to sleep in the middle of winter.
