A Brooklyn grandmother is speaking out after a violent stabbing last month in Flatbush left her 17-year-old grandson, his 16-year-old cousin and the teen’s father in the hospital.
Karen Chandler says the teens had just left a party when they were chased by another group of young people.
The 16-year-old called his father for help, and moments later, all three were stabbed near Foster Avenue and Rugby Road.
“My grandson was stabbed in the back and the arm. His cousin was stabbed five times. And his uncle was stabbed and he has a punctured lung,” Chandler told News 12.
All three victims survived and are still recovering. The family has asked to remain anonymous for safety reasons.
