Acting Nassau District Attorney Madeline Singas announced the arrests of three men connected to at least nine commercial burglaries in the county.
Prosecutors say Joseph Borelli, of Brooklyn, and his two alleged co-conspirators Edan and Rotem Balila stole more than $200,000 in merchandise.
Singas says detectives spent months combing through surveillance video and finally tracked Borelli down on June 16 after he robbed a deli in Plainview.
Police say they linked the trio to multiple break-ins since January. Singas says they may be linked to other burglaries that fit their pattern in Suffolk, Nassau and Queens.
