Joevani Vale is accused of stabbing his 83-year-old neighbor, Ramon Cintron, 30 times inside an elevator at the Wyckoff Houses two months ago.

A Brooklyn man faces multiple charges in the fatal stabbing of an 83-year-old man in Boerum Hill in April.

Joevani Vale, 27 faces charges including second-degree murder and second-degree assault. He is accused of stabbing his 83-year-old neighbor, Ramon Cintron, 30 times inside an elevator at the Wyckoff Houses two months ago.

Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez says that Vale stabbed Cintron in the neck, back, torso and legs, and then kicked him while he tried to leave the elevator. Vale is also accused of following two women in separate incidents that same day, slashing one of them in the back of the leg and punching the other on the shoulder.

The district attorney’s office also says that Vale punched an NYPD officer in the face while he was being held at a psychiatric facility after his arrest on April 11.

Vale is being held without bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for September.
