At a time where most people turn to the web for their favorite films, one Brooklyn man says he's hoping to reinvent the video store.
Aaron Hillis and his wife jumped at the opportunity to keep "Video Free" open after hearing the store was on the market in Carroll Gardens.
Hillis says that while it's easy to click buttons on Netflix, you lose human interaction. He says he can give customers recommendations instead of a bland algorithm that tells them what to watch.
Hillis also plans to hold movie screenings to help draw crowds to the store.
