Separate juries have found two Brooklyn men guilty for the kidnapping, rape and murder of a Hunter College student.
Kayson Pearson and Troy Hendrix were co-defendants, but had different juries. One jury reached the guilty verdict Thursday, while the other came to the same decision Wednesday. Pearson and Hendrix tortured and killed 21-year-old Ramona Moore in 2003. Authorities say a 15-year-old girl, who the suspects raped in a separate incident, gave descriptions that led police to the men.
A mistrial was declared in January after Pearson stabbed one of his own lawyers and Hendrix tried to wrestle a gun away from a guard during a courtroom escape attempt.
