A Brooklyn nanny is facing assault charges after she was caught on camera abusing a 6-month-old baby, police say.
According to police, 36-year-old Elena Bass violently removed the baby girl from a crib and changing table.
Surveillance video from a nanny cam hidden inside her employer's apartment also shows Bass slamming the child into an armchair.
Bass faces several charges, including felony assault. Bass was arraigned Wednesday and released without bail.
