As NBA free agency continues, numerous players are trying to make a roster, including one athlete who hails from Brooklyn.
Bishop Loughlin alum and Williamsburg native Jamael Lynch has already won a championship in Germany's pro basketball league and averaged 27 points per game playing for the Knick's D-League team in Erie Bay.
Lynch says he had his first workout for the Dallas Mavericks last week and is planning to work out with the Brooklyn Nets in August. He's also in talks with the Cavaliers, Celtics and Timberwolves in hopes of getting a workout in with all of them.
