Three Brooklyn natives are selling products made with CBD, a chemical compound found in the cannabis plant, from their local bee farm.

The founders of HempMe make honey, skincare items and other products with CBD. The trio says they started the company after hearing many stories of people dealing with pain.

Unlike THC, the main component in marijuana, CBD is not psychoactive and does not cause a high. There is limited research on the health benefits of CBD, but many studies show that the compound may help anxiety, insomnia and chronic pain.
