The century-old Brooklyn Paramount unveiled its brand-new look for the grand opening of the venue on Wednesday afternoon.
The new redesign honors its extensive history and increases its capacity to 2,700. Tonight’s opening show features the Marley Brothers and it’s now sold out.
Brooklyn Paramount shut its doors as a concert venue in 1962 and served as Long Island University’s basketball gymnasium for almost 40 years before the revamping process began in 2022.
“We are reopening a venue that has been dormant for 60 years, so all of the fans that are coming to this venue will be experiencing it for the first time,” said Stacie George, the senior vice president of Live Nation.
