The sun was out and so were many Brooklyn residents who soaked up the sun on the warm spring day on Sunday at Coney Island. People lined up in front of the ice cream truck to get that sweet treat, while kids and dogs ran free on the beach and the boardwalk.

"I'm out here because my friends are here," said Dmytro, of Coney Island. "I'm here with my family members, my cousins, my brothers, and I'm going to meet my friends and get some ice cream!"
