A Thanksgiving parade came a bit early this year for students at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy.
Using a JIMU robot kit, the upperclassmen constructed robots to carry floats and parade them around the gym, carrying floats designed by the younger students. This is all part of the school's new STEM enrichment program and pledge to project-based learning.
Principle Kelly Wolf said this project represents the school at its full capacity.
"I mean this is what learning's all about right?" said Wolf. "To put your hands to work and actually then come and see what it can do."
Stephanie Campenella is the mastermind behind this new, annual tradition.
"Just seeing their hard work come to life and their excitement, just made me happy," said Campenella.
