Hundreds of people showed their pride at the 28th annual Brooklyn Pride Twilight Parade on Saturday night.
Friends, families, and different organizations hopped on a float or walked along Park Place to show off what Pride means to them.
"We experience the same diversity in our workforce that we see in Brooklyn, and we are so happy to be here today," said Rob Cimino, vice president of Digital Health Strategies at Maimonides Health.
Brooklyn residents told News 12 why Pride Month means so much to them.
“Pride is just a time where we can come together and just really be happy and have fun, but you know it’s just about being with each other," a Bed-Stuy resident said.
Parade goers said the Brooklyn Pride parade gets better and better each year, and that they're proud to live in a city where they can express themselves.
