A six-floor medical facility is set to open on Monday in Park Slope.
New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital says the Center for Community Health will house a wide range of care under one roof.
The hospital says it is the largest ambulatory care facility built in Brooklyn in 40 years. They're also focusing on hiring local residents while adding 315 new employees.
"This is going to be extraordinary. CCH is the largest ambulatory care center in all of Brooklyn with a little over 400,000 square foot of space, with extraordinary advancements in the technology and the people, of course. The building itself is really amazing, and patients really will have incredible access in a caring environment where all go their positions are working together in one location," says the hospital's Alan Lee.
The hospital says the new center's layout encourages social distancing. They will check one's temperature and do a symptom screening upon arrival.
