New Yorkers gathered in Bushwick Tuesday evening to support victims of earthquakes in Ecuador and Japan over the weekend.
Community members from across the city attended a candlelight vigil hosted by the borough president at Maria Hernandez Park.
The earthquakes killed hundreds of people and caused massive damage.
Organizers say the group joined in prayer to show solidarity with the victims.
Some of the groups in attendance say they're putting care packages together to send to both countries.
