Dozens of small business owners in The Bronx say that stifling city regulations and policies are bad for their bottom line.
The owners are taking up their concerns with public advocate Bill de Blasio. They claim that too much bureaucratic red tape is making it difficult for them to operate or make changes, such as adding outdoor seating.
The Bronx Chamber of Commerce said that it's working with Blasio's office on recommendations to improve small business regulations.
