Thousands of people lined the streets of el condado de la salsa, or "the salsa borough," for the 25th annual Bronx Puerto Rican Day Parade today. The celebration of Puerto Rican culture was scrapped in the eleventh hour last year due to heavy rains, so this year, organizers say it's bigger and better than ever. About 160 organizations participated and there was seven floats parading down the borough's streets. The parade is known for its music, dancing and fervent flag-waving. The Bronx is home to an estimated 300,000 Puerto Ricans.Click to share your parade pictures and videos with News 12!
