Customers at the Crosby Avenue Rite Aid pharmacy say the store is being overly strict when it comes to enforcing parking lot regulations.
Mary Lou Varrichio says her car got the "boot" and she was slapped with a $50 fine when she went to get coffee after finishing her shopping at the pharmacy.
The owner of the Bronx Boulevard Automotive Corporation says Rite Aid approached him to monitor the store's parking lot after receiving complaints from customers who say drivers are parking there and shopping elsewhere.
The towing company boots about four cars a day several times a week.
