A driver collided with a man riding an electric scooter early Sunday morning in Borough Park, according to police.

The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. on the corner of Fort Hamilton Parkway and 45th Street.

Authorities say the 25-year-old was traveling in his Ford Fusion when he and the 32-year-old scooter rider struck each other.

The scooter rider was hospitalized and is expected to be OK. The driver of the Ford remained at the scene.

Police say no criminality is suspected.
