A pregnant mother of three says the ceiling in her East Flatbush apartment collapsed on top of her last week.

Shakira Meadows told News 12 that she wasn't concerned about her well-being, but the well-being of the baby she is expecting in four months.

A super promised to have the ceiling fixed by the end of Thursday night, and he stuck by the timetable. But the mother now says the repairs should not go late into the night and can wait to be completed Friday morning.

Meadows says she did not want to keep her three kids up late on a school night in order to finish repairs.

The super says that the collapse was a result of a water leak.

Meadows says she was hospitalized for 24 hours after the incident.
