A child was struck by a car Tuesday night in Coney Island, according to the NYPD.
Police say the incident took place on West 35th Street near the intersection at Surf Avenue at around 7:30 p.m.
We're told the driver did not stay on the scene and the child was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
