Children treated to free ice skating fun at Abe Stark rink in Brooklyn

Children in Brooklyn were treated to free ice skating sessions Wednesday morning at Abe Stark rink.
The event was hosted by several local leaders including Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, Councilmember Justin Brannan, and Sen. Jessica Scarella-Spanton.
The kids were also given free treats and snacks. Both the young ones and their parents tell News 12 they're thankful for the opportunity to practice their skating while spending quality time together.
The rink will be back open to kids Thursday morning for another free session from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
