A Children's Clothing Warehouse went up in flames in Borough Park.
Fire officials were called to 892 McDonald Ave. just after 7:30 a.m., to reports of smoke coming out of the warehouse through the gate at the front entrance.
The owners of a bakery next-door say they called 911 after they saw smoke coming into the site and burn marks on the shared brick wall between the businesses.
According to FDNY, crews were able to knock down the flames by 9:24 a.m., with two firefighters receiving treatment for minor injuries.
Volunteers are a children's development center next door say that the smoke and flames scorched their brick wall but say the material prevented the fire from spreading.
"We thank God for the for firefighters, and that no one was hurt here. Kids were at school, but right now, our windows were broken from the firefighters, and it is very smoky. We will need to be closed," said volunteer Elena Raffloer.
The Fire Marshal's Office continues to investigate the cause, as fire officials on site told News 12 that the flames are believed to have started from the warehouses' heating unit.
