The church of San Juan Crisóstomo held a gun violence vigil to call for safer streets in Crotona Park on Sunday.
Churchgoers and community members gathered for a Corpus Christi procession where they walked past sites of recent shootings in the Bronx to promote anti-gun violence.

The Corpus Christi procession is a tradition among Catholics to celebrate the body, blood, and soul of Christ.
The vigil lasted around an hour and ended back at the church.
