More than 100 people rallied outside City Hall Thursday, demanding changes within the NYPD.
Hip-hop artist Talib Kweli joined several Bronx community activists, elected officials and members of New Yorkers United for the protest. They called on the City Council to use legislation to stop what they call discriminatory policing practices.
The group also said it wants more oversight of the department and an end to the stop-and-frisk policy.
