One of the big concerns before the J.Lo concert was traffic around City Island.
Despite concerns about construction, noise and traffic, many City Island residents say they were pleasantly surprised that the concert didn't disrupt their lives.
Many said there was little traffic on the island after the concert.
Some residents told News 12 that they decided to stay home or close shop early to avoid congestion, which may have helped ease bottlenecks around the area.
Other residents were happy that the concert brought a lot national attention to their island community.
