The cleanup is over after an estimated 1 million people turned out for the borough's annual West Indian American Day Parade on Labor Day.
Crews worked overnight Monday into Tuesday making every possible effort to clear Eastern Parkway following the festivities in Crown Heights.
Neighbors say they are impressed by how quickly the main parade route was picked up.
A spokesperson from the Department of Sanitation says they are thrilled to be a part of the parade, and they take pride in cleaning up after it's over.
