As we close out our Wednesday night, another cold one on tap with mainly clear skies.
Prepare for plenty of sunshine Thursday, but it will still be frigid in the morning and cold in the afternoon. Thursday night, a few more clouds but still mainly clear and cold.
Friday slightly milder with a few more clouds moving in especially in the afternoon and evening hours. An approaching system may develop rain and even freezing rain for some areas early Saturday morning.
The weekend forecast will be back and forth with rain on Saturday but most of the day is expected to be dry until a resurgence overnight Saturday into Sunday.
Then, there is more chances for rain as a warm front moves into the area raising temperatures near 50 in the afternoon.
Rain chances and mild weather continue into the final days of 2024. You may need a rain jacket or umbrella for New Years Eve.

OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and very cold. Lows in the low 20s.
THURSDAY: Plenty of sunshine and still cold. Highs in the mid to upper 30s. Lows in the mid-20s.
FRIDAY: Sun and clouds and not as cold. Highs near 40. Lows in the low 30s.
THE WEEKEND: Multiple rain opportunities for the weekend, temperatures will be in the mid-40s on Saturday and warm near 50 on Sunday. On-and-off rain chances throughout the weekend into Monday of the following week.
