The deadly Minneapolis bridge collapse has some calling on Mayor Michael Bloomberg to look at those in charge of Brooklyn and city bridges.
State Senator Eric Adams and the American Engineering Alliance are asking Bloomberg to find out if the individuals in charge of managing bridges, tunnels and other infrastructures are qualified and properly doing their job.
An employee of the Department of Transportation recently spoke out about some of his managers. The DOT employee said his managers sometimes aren?t acting as engineers, despite overseeing technical projects all over the city.
Meanwhile, at least five people are dead in the Minneapolis collapse. The collapse also left unanswered questions about the structure?s stability. Many people are pointing fingers at the managers and supervisors of the bridge.
