The city issued a Code Blue alert Saturday and dangerously cold temperatures are continuing across the boroughs today.
Meteorologist Kiyana Lewis says that the cold air will get even colder as the day goes by.
Temperatures tonight will start off at around 26 degrees and drop to 22 degrees, with temperatures feeling like they are in the teens.
Officials are urging residents to bundle up with coats, hats, scarves and gloves.
Lewis also says that the city could see a few inches of snow late Monday into early Tuesday, with a wintry mix later on in the day.
There is also the possibility for another storm on Thursday, but the impact is not yet certain.
